Here are pictures of some of the dogs we have
at the shelter waiting for their owners to claim them.
Each is listed with its ID number. These pages are updated frequently, but we also may have animals that are not listed here. Please call (717) 334-8876 if you see your pet or do not see your pet. It is always a good idea to come in to the shelter and look for your lost pet.
DATE BELOW EACH BIO REPRESENTS THE DATE THAT THE DOG BECOMES OUR PROPERTY.
If the dog is not claimed by this date, the dog will be assessed and possibly made for adoption on this date.
DOG WILL HAVE TO BE TEMPERAMENT TESTED AND PASS ALL EVALUATIONS.

Jack Russell Terrier, male, adult, tricolor, found in Straban twp on Mummasburg Rd, brought to shelter 2-16-12.

Terrier mix, neutered male, adult, white with brown on ears, found in Biglerville boro, brought to shelter 2-18-12.

Collie or Sheltie mix, male, adult, had on black leather collar, has sores on ankles and flea allergies, left in kennel at spca with bedsheet and blue leash, 2-17-12.

Husky, female, adult, red/white, 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye, has sores from flea allergies, originally found in McSherrystown, dog has been held onto by good semaritan for 1 month, brought to shelter 2-17-12.
