SADIE

I
have been here for over 10 long months now and I am so very
tired of living in a cage every day! I am just getting chubby and
depressed being here day after day. I am still just a young girl that
loves to play and can be very affectionate too! I do prefer to be
the only cat in the house, but I can probably learn to live with another
one as long as there is plenty of space. Won't you please give me
a chance to be happy again?
My name is Sadie
and I am only about 1 year old, just spayed, and found my
way to the Meyers Animal Shelter as a pregnant stray way back in
March. A few weeks later my babies were born and we were all moved
upstairs to an empty staff office. Sadly my little ones all became
very sick with "kitten colds" and were too young and week to survive
- except for my boy Sam. We mourned our loss but grew healthy and
stronger every day. We have been very happy upstairs with all of
the special treatment and were even given the run of the place after
awhile. Needless to say I was not at all happy when I was put into
a cage with Sam and another kitten that I didn't even know. I felt
so stressed that I even took it out on poor little Sam! Then these
3 rowdy boy kittens came into our cage and all kinds of havoc broke
loose!! I have never seen such ill behaved children before! They
must have had no mother to discipline them growing up! Luckily some
volunteers took pity on poor Sam and moved him in with some smaller
babies and moved me into a cage of my own. Aaah! Peace at long last
and no more kids to worry about! Now I can just concentrate on finding
my very own forever family!
WILL I EVER FIND A HOME???
