We could all use
a Guardian Angel.
Be an angel for
a forgotten
animal.
Every minute an animal touches someone's heart.
Sometimes they need our help in return.
This is a perfect opportunity to show your support for the lost and
neglected animals in your area. We at the SPCA are at constant odds
with the overpopulation of animals in our county. And, by helping
just one animal you are able to give a loving animal a good home.
Every minute an animal is forgotten about, neglected, abandoned,
or abused.
We need your help so that we can find good homes for these beautiful
creatures. Their lives are too short to spend another day in these
cages. They belong in a loving home.
Be an angel to those that need it most: The one's that have been
forgotten.
Becoming a Guardian Angel
The Adams County SPCA's Guardian Angel program was designed to give
an animal that touches your heart an increased opportunity at adoption
and a happy home.
The way the program works is: 50% of the money you donate will be
applied toward the adoption fee of the animal you select, reducing
the price to a prospective adoptee; the remaining 50% will be applied
directly toward the care of this animal while in our shelter (food,
veterinary care, etc.) A Guardian Angel sign will be posted on the
animals' cage along with the donor's name. * Remember, it costs our
Shelter over $500,000 annually to operate.
How to become an Angel
Look online at our "Available
for Adoption" animals. Find the one or ones that melts your heart.
Donate online or via mail. For online transactions, use the available
link located under the animal's picture. This will guide you to Paypal
to complete your payment. Note: Donations are in the multiples of
$20 online. If you wish to donate more than $20, change the quantity
of items. Example: If you wish to donate $60 for an animal, change
the quantity to 3.
If you prefer to donate through regular mail, please make your check
out to "Adams County SPCA" and mail to: Adams County SPCA,
11 Goldenville Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325. Please write the name of
your chosen animal in the memo line located at the lower left of your
check.
As always, we make every effort to find a home for all adoptable animals;
however, there is always the chance that this adoption will not occur.
At that time, the balance of your donation will be used to help other
animals find happy homes.
