Athena was adopted from
the Adams County SPCA in September of 2007. Unfortunately her adopters
are moving and need to find her a new home. Here is a little note
from her adopted family:
Athena is an eleven
year old Arabian mare. She came to us four years ago as a foster to
recuperate after loosing her left eye. I have not ridden her, but
she had been ridden before her surgery. Athena is a very sweet horse
but can be very shy around strangers. She has been a pasture pal for
our other horse and horses that we have fostered. She gets along with
geldings and mares and in a larger group of horses tends to be lower
in the herd. Easy keeper. UTD on vaccines. Coggins due end of November.
Wormed every eight weeks. We will be moving and will not be able to
take her with us.
